The project.
REKAZ contributed to community centre projects in Abu Dhabi. The facilities bring together social, learning and activity spaces, with shaded courtyards and outdoor areas that support everyday neighbourhood use.
The group is presented as one portfolio entry so each centre keeps its own identity, location and approved photography rather than being repeated as separate cards.

The ME8 and Z30 community centers form a coordinated neighborhood-facilities project in Mohamed Bin Zayed City. The brief describes each center as exceeding 4,000 square metres, in addition to its external facilities, with spaces intended to support social interaction and community activities.
The project combines architecture, structural engineering and mechanical and electrical services. Its consultancy narrative emphasizes the interfaces between these disciplines and the practical relationship between the indoor facilities and their surrounding public spaces.
